Lifeguards are on duty from the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through three weeks following Labor Day. Guarded hours are 10 am-5 pm weekdays and 10 am-5:30 pm weekends and holidays.

  • Smoking Areas: The city has designated several smoke-free areas, including parks and playgrounds, the bandwalk plaza, boardwalk and accessways, dune crossings, and the beach except in designated smoking areas.
  • Beach Closures: The beach is closed from 1-5 am for safety and health reasons.
